An elderly woman named Lyuba repatriated from Moscow to Israel this year and settled in the city of Yavne. One day she visited a humanitarian aid center, where she learned about meetings where people drink tea together, read the Bible, pray, and share from the heart.
Lyuba began attending regularly. She loved the warm, friendly atmosphere. After some time, she invited her friend — also an elderly repatriate — to come with her.
Her friend suffered from dangerously high blood sugar levels, and her condition had been a serious concern. During one of the gatherings, church members prayed for her healing. Immediately afterward, her sugar levels began to normalize and have remained stable ever since. The women saw this as a clear answer from God.
Now Lyuba and her friend never miss a meeting. They rejoice in the fellowship, in God’s answers to prayer, and in the mercy shown through healing.
