We were loaded into freight cars and taken west—to what we later realized was Auschwitz. As soon as we were unloaded from the train, they began sorting us: adults to the left, children to the right.

Everything around us was engulfed in flames; sirens wailed, gunfire and explosions rang out, as the Nazis were being driven out of the city.

In the morning we opened the shutters and saw that not only had we survived unharmed, but even our glass windows were intact. At our neighbors’ house, half of the room had been shredded by shrapnel.

At first he said he was Jewish and didn’t believe in Jesus — but God touched his heart. Valentina: Finding Home and Healing

Valentina fled the war in Ukraine from the Donbass region, where upon arrival in Israel she needed to go through a difficult surgery. After prayer from a “Living Israel” minister, she experienced God’s healing. She has since rededicated her life to Jesus Christ and is actively evangelizing to family and friends. Bela: From Repatriation to Spiritual Renewal

After moving from Ukraine to Ramla, Israel, Bela first heard about Jesus Christ through the ministry of the “Living Israel” community. She accepted Him as Lord and Savior shortly after and was baptized in the Jordan River. Today her home has become a place for a home group, where she shares her faith with friends and neighbors.
