A year ago, an elderly widow named Faina from Yavne went through a personal tragedy — the death of her husband. The loss left her deeply broken and withdrawn, sinking into depression.
One day, during a food distribution outreach organized by the “Living Israel” community, Faina heard that there were meetings where people study the Bible, pray for physical and emotional healing, and support one another. Her heart was stirred with hope, and she decided to come.
At those meetings, Faina felt genuine warmth, care, and attention. She began to attend regularly and started reading the Gospel of John at home. Gradually her heart was filled with peace, and the Holy Spirit brought comfort in place of sorrow.
Today, Faina has found new meaning in life. She thanks God for bringing her out of the darkness of grief and giving her a spiritual family that has become her true support.
