As a young woman, Bela came to Israel from Ukraine looking for a fresh start. Upon arriving she settled in the city of Ramla, where the first few months of repatriation were extremely difficult and strenuous — everything was new: the language, the culture, the people. One day, while visiting the humanitarian aid center run by the “Living Israel” community, she heard about their Bible study meetings and decided to attend.
For the first time, Bela heard the Gospel clearly and personally. As she listened to the Word of God, she felt the Lord touching her heart. In time, she came to believe in Jesus Christ and was baptized in the Jordan River — a public sign of her new faith and life.
Today Bela is actively serving God. Her apartment has become a place where friends and neighbors gather for fellowship and Bible study. Recently, one of her co-workers came to faith through Bela’s testimony. Bela joyfully shares what God has done in her life and is a living witness to the power of God’s love and transformation.
